Event description

The Second Romanian Congress of Interventional Pain Management will take place between Friday, June 6 - Saturday, June 7, 08:00-17:00 (UTC+3 hours), at the Novotel Bucharest City Centre, Romania.

The congress is is addressed to the following medical specialties: Anesthesia and Intensive Care, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Interventional Radiology, Orthopedics, Oncology, Rheumatology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Stomatology.

The Congress program will also include a pre-congress Course , which will take place on Wednesday, June 4 and Thursday, June 5, at NORD Pipera Hospital, Bucharest, Romania.

EVENT AGENDA

The scientific coordinator of the event is Dr. Ovidiu Palea, the first doctor in Romania certified in Pain Management by the WIP-World Institute of Pain and member of the ESRA-European Association for Regional Anesthesia and Pain Therapy.

Ovidiu Palea, MD, FIPP, is Primary Care Physician in Anesthesia and Intensive Care, specialist in Pain Managament, the President of the ARAI- Romanian Association of Interventional Analgesiology and Founder of NORD Medical Group. NORD Medical Group is the only Integrated Centre for Pain Management in Romania, it is also the only ESRA accredited training centre in Central and Eastern Europe.

Currently, ARAI- Romanian Association of Interventional Analgesiology is the only active organization in Romania in the development of interventional pain management. By organizing and supporting theoretical courses, practical workshops and training programs, ARAI contributes to the establishment of a standardized educational curriculum in interventional pain management, facilitating the access to continuing professional development in the field. Through its own research initiatives, international collaboration and the definition of new standards in the field, ARAI supports innovation and medical progress.
